We got to know the small Frisian restaurant through an insider tip from a woman from Sylt. It has been our absolute favorite restaurant ever since. The cook takes care of all requests. The staff is very warm. Our daughter (6 years) also likes the restaurant very much. The food is just great. At peak times, we are happy to accept longer waiting times. It is worth it ..
Outstanding service ππ Magic new creations that you want. Nice ambience. Price performance top.
Quite excellent. Nice atmosphere, friendly service, creative, passionate cook / owner! Highly recommended!
There were four of us here. The food was well worth the money. The service was very tailored to the guests and well adjusted to the guests. Yes, the price-performance ratio is reasonable. The atmosphere is pleasant when you know where you are. Thank you! See you soon The four of us from Ostholstein
At first glance it didn't seem like it, but after dinner we were very surprised at HOW delicious it was ;-)
The restaurant is an absolute must-have! Incredibly ingenious cuisine, unusual combinations - but they trigger a taste explosion in your mouth Incredibly delicious and surprising When you first look at the restaurant, you are not even aware of what you have just let yourself in, but really amazing wirklich Everyone is very nice and friendly there tooππ»
I would never have expected from the outside that there would be such exquisite, high-quality, delicious, almost star cuisine! The dishes were simply prepared and presented with a lot of love and class. To be honest: I love beef steak! And there I ate the best I've ever eaten! Point! In addition, there was still so much around it for free "time to taste" it was said ... Summasumarum ... very high quality food and therefore totally reasonably priced. No luxury prices. The atmosphere there is pretty rustic. Nice personel.
Attention rip off! Yesterday we went to eat with four people in the small Frisian restaurant. After half an hour we were presented with a drinks menu with prices that were relatively normal for Westerland. The menu, consisting of four different "menus", was read to us by the innkeeper at the table - there would only be a limited menu, as there was currently only one cook. We were not given prices. Then relatively soon a small snack came as a greeting from the kitchen. After that there was a waiting time of 1.5 hours until the main courses were served. I ordered a beef roulade. This was tough as the sole of a shoe, and the side dishes (red cabbage, spaetzle) were not particularly tasty. My family's meal (plaice, cod) was also unsatisfactory. At the end there was a "dessert", which consisted of a small plate of grapes with chocolate icing and powdered sugar for four people. For this βmenuβ with one drink each (cherry beer), four of us had to shell out 125 EUR !!! For Westerland, too, this is usury, especially since the food wasn't even tasty! We can only warn against this rip-off!
Small, cozy restaurant where the owner cooks himself with passion. Very good and tasty food. The portion plentiful. The food is presented very nicely, with the eye. The chef also greets his guests himself and asks whether everything is okay. Staff very nice and accommodating. We ate there a total of 3 times and each time a taste experience. I can only recommend.
Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was very tasty with great aha experiences and fair prices. Will definitely come back again.
At the beginning of the holiday we went to the small Frisian restaurant for dinner. At first we thought "okay, very quaint". But then a strange evening took its course: - Inside it smells like grease, the clothes still had a souvenir 2 days later. - We were there at 7 p.m., the drinks arrived at 7:30 p.m. - 9:10 p.m. the meal. - Service absolutely uncoordinated - There is no menu to choose from, the waitress had read 4 pieces of paper. 3x fish and once meat, without mentioning the price. - We had a plaice for β¬ 21.50 and a sole for β¬ 23.50, nobody understood the pricing either. Plaice was not fried on the skin, nor was there a fish knife as a meal aid. - Fried potatoes are soaked in oil on the plate - Neither starter nor dessert was offered - Decoration more than questionable - a bottle of wine is 2-3 β¬ more expensive than ordering glasses for the same number of liters. In other words, 5 glasses are cheaper than the whole bottle. We didn't understand either. - In the end we wanted to have an invoice, the owner didn't seem to like it that much. With a "sullen" look he prepared a receipt for us. - 3 wines in 3 different glasses. The service is very friendly and hard-working, you can't say otherwise. Unfortunately, he didn't know his drinks or his dishes.
Food was very good and service staff nice but it took 1 hour to place the order and then another 40 minutes to serve. We had ordered for 8 p.m. and there was food at 9:40 p.m. Unreasonable. We would have left if we had an alternative. Chef cooks fresh and the great preparation of the dishes takes time. Everything is understandable. But not everyone can tolerate eating so late.
Very good cuisine, passionate cook, very friendly staff. Extra requests are taken into account. The βgreeting from the kitchenβ was always very nice. We will come back on our next vacation !!!
New restaurant, small but down-to-earth fine and very attentive service. The landlord asks about personal well-being. Very pleasant
Small, old-fashioned business with nice staff. Even without a reservation we got a table with 5 people. A menu was not available and you ordered on the advice of the cook, unusual but still good. The service was friendly, very quick but a little overwhelmed with increasing number of guests, but half as bad. The food came quickly, with a greeting from the kitchen (fish) and was very tasty. It is also reasonably priced. The small Frisian economy is highly recommended β
Very loving hospitality. "Better to have two tables less during the probationary period than one too many." A very thoughtful kitchen. thank you
Nice service and chef who also cooks and is greeted by the nan. There was no menu in the restaurant, but as usual before, so that you can get an overview. The boss then explains what there is in the restaurant. Good food at fair prices.
Simple restaurant, but almost an insider tip, because the landlord is very warm and courteous .. the guest will be fulfilled every wish to be made possible. Cooking is done here with love and passion. The food tastes great! We recommend!
We would love to come back. An excellent inn. A young creative host and cook. We were given excellent advice. The personal advice and presentation of the dishes impressed us very much and the preparation of the dishes was completely convincing. He is a passionate chef and the well-being of his guests is paramount. Guests who love excellent cuisine are in good hands here
We already discovered this small restaurant for ourselves in January 2020. The ambience is small and cozy. There is only one daily menu. The dishes are freshly prepared, very tasty and the portions are large. Price-performance ratio top ππΌππΌππΌWe absolutely had to come back. The cook is very keen and creative. We'll be back soon.
The waiters were nice and friendly. But that was it, the service was slow and the food tasteless. The food we took was over cooked and served with a sauce that was obviously not spiced (maybe it all came from a can?). Furthermore, it is impossible to pay with cash which is not indicated outside of the restaurant. I would strongly advise you against eating there.
